Cottage Door Press has added the Disney Princess Friendship Stories Figurine to its Luna StoryTime Projector collection. The cartridge includes eight stories featuring six princesses and five songs; it requires the Luna projector to display the stories and images. Price, release date and availability details are not provided in the source report.
Cottage Door Press has added the Disney Princess Friendship Stories Figurine to its Luna StoryTime Projector collection, bringing eight princess-themed stories and five songs to families who own the projector. The cartridge features Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, Rapunzel, Tiana and Ariel, and uses the Luna device to project illustrated story content for children.
The new figurine is described by The Toy Insider as a cartridge for the Luna StoryTime Projector, rather than a standalone projector. Placing it on the device plays stories and songs, while the projector displays images and animations. The source report says the Luna system can show more than 750 image projections and smooth animations; that figure refers to the projector’s broader image library, not a count of images included in the Disney Princess cartridge.
The eight tales feature the six named Disney Princess characters and focus on kindness, courage and teamwork, according to the report. The five songs are presented as part of the same figurine, with lyrics described as encouraging imagination, confidence and an interest in storytelling. The report does not provide the titles, running times or full contents of the stories and songs.
The Luna projector is described as offering projection, read-along text, graphics and music. Families need the projector to experience the cartridge’s projected material. The Toy Insider’s article links readers to purchase options and notes that it participates in affiliate programs that may generate revenue from purchases. It does not specify a price or establish stock levels at individual retailers.
The release adds a familiar licensed property to a device designed to combine audio, text and projected visuals. For families already using Luna, the figurine offers another content option without replacing the projector itself. Its stories and songs are aimed at preschool-age children, though the report does not state a specific age range or provide developmental guidance.
The format also matters for shoppers comparing story products: the Disney Princess material is supplied through a separate figurine, and the projector is needed to play it. That means the announcement is an addition to an existing system, not a new all-in-one product. The source gives no price details for either item, so families cannot use the report alone to assess the full purchase cost.
The stated themes of kindness, courage and teamwork describe the stories’ intended subject matter, rather than independently verified outcomes for children. The songs are likewise marketed as supporting confidence and imagination. Parents deciding whether the content suits their household may want to check the story and song details with the retailer or manufacturer before buying.

How the Luna Cartridge Fits
The Luna StoryTime Projector is Cottage Door Press’s platform for projected stories and related audio content. The Disney Princess figurine extends that collection by supplying a new set of tales and songs through the existing projector. The Toy Insider report says other figurines in the wider collection are inspired by properties including Daniel Tiger, Sesame Street and Barbie.
The report presents the new cartridge as a way to expand storytime at bedtime or during the day. It does not describe changes to the Luna projector, announce a new version of the device or say whether an existing owner needs an update. The development is limited to the addition of Disney Princess content to the catalogue.
The article names Cottage Door Press as the source of product information and identifies the figurine as the Disney Princess Friendship Stories Figurine. The Toy Insider’s report also includes shopping links and an affiliate disclosure. That disclosure is relevant when readers follow those links, since the publication says it may earn revenue from qualifying purchases.

Price, Release and Content Details
The source report does not state the figurine’s price, release date or current availability. It includes purchase links, but those alone do not confirm inventory or whether the product is shipping in every market. Readers should check Cottage Door Press or a retailer for current sales information.
Other details are also absent: the report does not list the eight story titles, identify the five songs, give their lengths or explain whether the cartridge includes printed materials. It does not say whether the figurine works with every Luna projector model or whether any additional setup is required. These points remain unconfirmed in the supplied material.
The report characterizes the content as preschool-oriented but provides no exact recommended age or product-safety information. Families should consult the product packaging and manufacturer guidance for age suitability and use. The source does not discuss a CPSC recall check or report any recall status, so no conclusion about that status can be drawn from the article.
Check Retailer and Product Listings
Families interested in the new content can check Cottage Door Press’s Luna collection or the retailers linked by The Toy Insider for current price and stock information. Retail listings and product packaging may also clarify the recommended age, compatibility with specific projector versions and what comes with the figurine.
The source material does not announce a later launch event, scheduled expansion or follow-up update. Until the manufacturer or retailers publish more detail, the confirmed information remains the basic product description: eight Disney Princess stories, five songs and use with the Luna StoryTime Projector.
